Dol[hin help please, post processor not working

Help! help! I've been using Dolphin for years and suddenly the post processor isn't working. It says it's looking for a post with a .ppx extension, whereas it was a .ppr extension before and I can't change it to select a .ppr extension.

It's a custom post processor made by Dolphin here in the UK and has worked fine for years. I must have changed something.

How do I get my precious Dolphin back please?

    Thanks in advance!

    Iain

Do you have the full copy of dolphin with the post processor option ?
Icon saying Partmaster Post processor ?

If so open it up and open the post file you are working with.
then under File right at the bottom it says compile, press that and it will generate the PPX file.

The PPR file is the readable version of the post processor.
The PPX file is the machine coded version of the same, each post has to have a PPR and PPX of the same name to work.

    Something must have changed.

Have you downloaded a new version ?

    Changed PC's ?

Added a new user account ?

Changed any of the defaults in Cam under View>Preferences ?

    Shouted at your computer ?

If you are still having problems email me or phone the office.

Yep, got the full version and can attempt to recompile, but the error messages I'm getting would indicate a sowtware license key error.

Changed PC's yep, and that's probably the problem- should have thought of tha!. Your meant to transfer your Code from the old PC then Save it to your new one.

So it was a PIC error (person in chair).

I'll call the office- they must have my details on file.

    Thanks all!

We call those PEBKAC errors (problem exists between keyboard and chair)
