I have a basic square with an island. I'm cutting out the square with the contour, and I'm trying to use area clear to bring the face down around the island. Area clear stays inside the shape, leaving the rounded corners sticking up, and what I want is to clear the entire face, but leave the island. I've attached a 3D picture of what the shape should look like, and what the envelope simulation shows. Any thoughts on how I can accomplish this?  |
