You can add a space character between each letter, but his can look a bit odd on occasions.
If you are using True type fonts, the inter character spacing (Kerning) is controlled by the font and can't easily be changed without using a font editing program.
If you using the simple (stick) fonts, these can be modified using the CAD module.
Start CAD and begin a new drawing.
From the top toolbar choose Text Gallery
Select New and create a new style
Highlight the new style and click the Modify button on the right.
Set the inter character spacing
You will asked to save the new font
This will then be available when you use a simple font.
