    Hello,

You can add a space character between each letter, but his can look a bit odd on occasions.

If you are using True type fonts, the inter character spacing (Kerning) is controlled by the font and can't easily be changed without using a font editing program.

If you using the simple (stick) fonts, these can be modified using the CAD module.

Start CAD and begin a new drawing.
From the top toolbar choose Text Gallery
Select New and create a new style
Highlight the new style and click the Modify button on the right.
    Set the inter character spacing
You will asked to save the new font
This will then be available when you use a simple font.

My Son and I had great success in using InkScape and various fonts that either come w/ windows or you can purchase. I have a detailed post that could possibly help if you are interested in that getting started w/ that option? Hit me on a PM and I'll sent it along. I did considerable engraving w/ my Dolphin as-is but sometimes I would get a "I want this font only" request- And I would need to take the Font and construct the phrase. Take it into InkScape, get it into vector and export w/ various DXF tools. (like better better DXF etc). My son also has hid own way w/ export that he's yet to teach me. But he gleaned it from Youtube. Google InkScpae and DXF/CAD and you'll get a lot of info.
