Need help wiring a HSD spindle with Delta VFD S1 using Mach3 and DMM DMB4250-8B
Hello
I have been using the DMM servos with Dyna 2 Drives and a 4250-8B breakout board for about two years now. The DMM products are excellent. I have acquired an HSD spindle with a Delta VFD-S1 drive. Currently I am controlling the spindle manually and would like to integrate both the spindle speed and on/off controls through Mach3. I have attached the wiring diagrams below. I find the two wiring diagrams confusing, any help out there.

The BOB needs 10v input to get 0-10v output. Some BOB's require 12v and mine accepts either 12v or 24v. Some spindle inverters have a DC output that can be used or you can use a separate dc power source. Connect your BOB output to the avi and acm terminals on the inverter. Make your ac connections. Set up Mach 3 to control the spindle and you are there. I don't use a charge pump so those connections are not necessary in my setup. Good luck.
