    IPhone app to run CNC video

    I know this is Shop Bot, but how long before someone works something up for Mach3 Everyone thought I was strange for putting the XBox 360 controller on my machine. I wonder what they would do to whip out the IPhone and make the machine run that way?

    I'd do it.I don't want an Iphone but the apps are driving me towards it.

    I know with the android there are aps that will control your PC. It really wouldn't be that hard to do. It would be a great ad on to mach3.

    I am not sure that I would want to trust control of a machine to a wireless device...

    I got the ipod touch (all the features of the iphone without the phone). I would love to have an app like this. I run mach 3 and need a pendant but havent got one yet. this would be sooo cool and functional.

    I think I found an answer and its free!! Take a look at WifiPad, it is a free app that emulated keyboard strokes including modifier keys. It is fully customizable so anybody can make a custom layout. I think this might be the answer.

    That is so cool. I wouldn't trust the wireless without a wired backup, but it would be cool to be able to start and stop the code at least. Pplug, it looks pretty good so far! We just got IPhones today, I am ready to try this out lol.

    Sweet

    @freecncplans
    I just programed it for Kcam. I was having an issue with shifting the joystick around, but when I press in the direction it works well.

    Made a gamepad file

    First I want to say hi to everyone! I've been lurcking for about a year and you have have helped tremendously in my first two diy builds. Anways. I made a gamepad today! Took me all day to figure out how to compile it using MinGW. If you have any tips let me know. I submitted to WiFiPad so it should be available for download within the next few days. You will have to set up the keys before you can use it, and test it for me (no wifi in the garage) Here's a picture of it, and a zip file to download. Enjoy

    I've been working on a design for my techno router for the past week or so and have some recommendations for the layout of the gamepad buttons.
    I've found out that the greater the buttons are spaced, the less likely you will accidentally hit them. I just think how P.O.'ed I would be to accidentally hit the DRO zero button by accident or hit the z- at the same time I move the Y-! The smooth surface of the iphone compounds the problem.

    This is very cool stuff. Does anyone have a video of WiFiPad controlling their CNC?
