    flat belts, long lengths require

    Hello im interested in knowing where to find, flat belts 1-1.5" wide that you can buy in a roll, as shown in this video, Thinking of using the concept to make waycover for my hiwin rails in the same way..... check out the the 1 min marker in the video.

    If you are using it to make way covers, why do you need to use a toothed belt? Just get some upholstery strapping or some nylon webbing and use that.

    frist , doing traditon way covers will consum to much trail, secoundly you didnt watch the video did you? the belt will travel up and over the linear bearing.... nylon webing get so yucky after time......to much friction look terrible after few hundred hours of use. Also i want to machine 3/16 notch onto both sides of the the belt so it would seat in to a U frame perventing it from siding from side to side, which would hold the rail.
