There are a couple of distributors in South-Western Ontario. I don't know about cheap though.... http://www.8020inc.net/PostalLookup.asp
i have been thinking about using 8020 for the x axis gantry beam,ie 30x60 stuff or 15x30 or 30x60 stuff.. i checked out ebay... some of the stuff has lots of holes in it etc...
Im located in Ontaro canada, im looking for local resources if possible... that i can get 60 inch pcs with no bends or major damage... to them
And hit tips leads or knowsuppliers....that are cheap?
The cheapest way I've found is 80/20's ebay store. I bought a large portion of my material from them and it was all in good shape - just minor nicks and scratches. The other way is to find a supplier that will sell you used material. Sometimes they will buy it back from factories that no longer need it. If you buy it new, it will all be the same price.
Automation4less.com has both metric and inch extrusions for a pretty decent price. The have both Bosch style and 8020 style extrusions. The bottom line is, profile aluminum extrusions are not cheap.
