Has anyone experience with the LCAM suite of software and servo drive equipment? If so, I would sincerely appreciate any helpful comments or technical commentaries on the workings and value of their products. I'm in the process of building 2 CNC routers (one 5x9' and one 4x4') and am just starting out. I'm looking for 3 axes with an additional slave axis. I'll be cutting thin (1/16" or less) aluminum sheet, plastic, (no wood). Also, I'm stuck with some animatics motors that I'm trying to convert to plane servo/encoder assemblies --don't want to attempt programming these "smart" motors interface to current cam and control offerings and no one seems to have drivers for these, do they? ArtSoft said they were "working on it, but wouldn't be available for months"
Anyway, This is my first post and any help would be appreciated.
