    Newbie Question

Ok here goes. I am looking at building a cnc router for routing kiteboards for the fin area and other area. The usually board is anywhere from 3.5' to 5.5' feet in length. ok here is the question. If I build a router 36x36, (this being smaller then the board size). can I cut for the fins area and then take the board and do the samething on the other end. After I rotate the board to fit on the cutting bed. Has anyone done this to complete oversize jobs. I hope this all makes since.

    Thanks

Shouldn't be a problem, I would just make up a clamping jig with the router first so that you can acuratly position the piece for the second cut.

If the piece has through holes then your life is easier as you can cut these first and then use dowels to postion for the cuts on each end.
