Hi Everyone.
I got bit by the CNC bug and really want to make one. I have already attempted to make one by copying pictures i saw on some website. But it turned out a little harder than I thought. I got the X and Y working but it was wobbly and didnt look all that good. So I sat down with my 3D program for a few hours and tried to design one that woulnt be to hard too cut out of wood and assemble.
The reason I posted this is because I am no CNC expert and I dont even know if my design will work. So if you could watch the attached video and let me know if you see any obvious flaws. I would love to hear suggestions to make it better.
There is a slight glitch in the Z axis animation and the camera moves when the bottom part moves. This was my first 3d animation so I didnt do it quite right.
The red things are rollerskate ballbarings. I am also thinking pine wood for everything except main surface area. There I was thinking MDF wood.
