Jeff...
I'm sure this is very simple to all of you but it will really help me out. I'm in the planning stages and want to make sure I know what I need before I need it so I can make educated decisions on parts.
Does anyone have a detailed drawing of examples of how some standard lead screws or simple threaded rod are attached to the moving axis and the stationary mounts? Do you all use specific lead screw mounting bearings that have mounting holes on them and a bearing built in, or are there other common methods for mounting the lead screw/bearing and the leadnut? Looking for both super cheap methods and high precision/high value methods.
thanks
Jesse

A different (better) kind of screw
a different better kind of screw
about the position of the screw closer to the gravity center is better
how to do it ?
the best solution is to use 2 lead screw /axe and one servo the 2 servo solution implied a high level of knowledge in electronique and more (much more) money
