    Engraving spindle

Where can I find a cheap engraving spindle complete with a small motor and a z-axis without stepper motor I can't afford a pro device so I would stay with a nice cheap product around say USD 100 - 200.

I have found some sites but can't receive any answers from those makers.

Engraving spindle, complete z-axis and and cheap are words that don't go together well. You are pretty well limiting yourself to a dremel and some sort of home fabricated z-slide assembly. Mabe drawer slides would work.
As far as no stepper, how about a simple actuator, electrical or an air solonoid.

    Hi Kong,

Thank you very much for your empathy, this is one of many sites that will not answer and this makes me disappointed as he has very nice and cheap devices both spindle and Z-axis.

I asked how much is it including postage to Sweden but... I have tried once again and I hope that he will reply this time.

Cheap and nice or decent and professional

    Hi Alan,

Check this http://www.cnconabudget.com/ for me it seems very decent and professional, cheap and nice, I think this will make my day but... he will not answer how much it is and so on.

Maybe he don't sell to EU if so it would be very sad.

    Here's a spindle...

    http://www.pro.com.sg/spindlekit.htm

I have bought AC servo motors from this guy and there has been no problems. No idea what the spindle can do - ask him!

edit: you asked for shipping to Sweden but your location says "NERDJUPE". But being a Swede I've never heard of it!

By George, I stand corrected. That spindle setup and a couple of short slides and you are in business. Looks like it would do a good job for engraving.

    Spindle & motor

    Arvidb,

The name nerdjupe is a very local designation, I don't use it when I order parts

So you have done some business with this guy? and how do you paid him?

I'm just interested in a good decent cheap spindle for hobby purposes, likewise I want a Z-axis.
