    CNC Router with Beckhoff Controls

    All:

I am new to this forum and thought it was a good place to hang out for CNC ideas. i am currently building my own CNC Router based loosly on a commercial design I found online. I am using primarily 80/20 and UHMW for construction with a melamine surface and T-slots for holding the work piece in place.

The controls will be various Beckhoff Automation controllers, as I am building this unit for testing different configurations of the hardware and software.

I've attached a picture of my progress so far. Comments and advice are welcome!

Is your cnc already finished ? ( should be after 3 years ! )
What kind of HMI are you using, because I am rebuilding my own conventional millingmachine as wel with Beckhoff NCI as a testcase.
At this moment I am using the Beckhoff visualisation, but I want to go to VB.
See my request for a VB HMI.
