Nice web page. I am impressed with you work.

I downloaded your DXF files and they are well done. I wonder what package you used and if there is any text or dimensions on any of the pages. With all the programs I have tried to read them with I get no test, not even in the bill of materials. However the drawings are all there.

I like the way you mounted the angle to attach the bearings.

As I say it looks as if you do fine work..

Yes Youve done a great job jgro. I love sites like yours. They are well set out and have lots of nice pictures. Oh and that was generous of you to put your plans on the Zone for others to use. I have a friend who will be making a router similar to yours, I will point him to the downloads section so he can get ideas from your design
    Thanks mate.

    gmfoster,

I use SolidWorks to make the drawings. You should be able to read the dxf files with AutoCAD or something similar. There should be text and dimensions on every sheet. Is anyone else having this problem?

Works fine - Cheers - Jim
Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.

Well I had tried Vector cad and Delta Cad when I wrote that. I later tried Fast Cad and Partmaster Cad and they both read the Text.

Anyway you have a nive set of drawings and are doing some great work.

    Keep up the postings...
