3D CAD models for free download where?

I have heard fellows mentioning that there are places to download interesting 3D models. I can't find any. Anyone have a link?

    3D cafe. http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/meshes.asp

Btw, If anyone needs .lwo models (or .3ds or .obj, too) converted to .dxf, I have Lightwave and can do it.

Try googling "free 3d models" and you'll find a lot more.

I will second 3dcontent central. i think its relatd to solidworks somehow, but the format is independant, it creates the files at download time. some of these models are very usefull ofr machine designers - like us. why draw a bearing "good-enuff" when you can download the MAnuf. data.

its a free registration, and you get access right away. i go there everytime i need a model of a component that I think may exist..
