    Another first CNC router

I think I finished with the machanics ,, now need to add home/limit switches and motor wiring....

Table is made from 5/8 partical board with some hardwood, short legs..

Gantry made from RED OAK [expensive stuff homedepot/loews]
Rails are 3/4 EMT conduit partical board and hardwood braces
4 foot y axis is 1/2-13 with self align bearings , lead screw nut is 1/2 square steel ,, will later change to brass I think..
2 foot x axis is 1/2-13 with make shift bearings
brass lead screw nut in hardwood mounting
z axis is 1/4-20 with 3/8x3/8x2 steel bar home made nut [ will improve]
z axis skate bearings and angle iron
x,y skate bearings and aluminum angle [expensive homedepot/lowes]

    Ready for use

    Have tried using KCAM

Kcam was easy to get going to test stuff...

motion appears ok but may be dropping steps ,, sometime hear clunking sound.....

what can I use to generate some gcode files
for name writing , circles whatever....

Does anybody have a recommended diagram to connect limit and home switches using kcam and hobbycnc pro......

It went to h... in a hand basket when I tried to set it up

I have been unable to get off the ground with Turbocnc and mach2/3

Any large stepper should work ,, if you can mount it....
Just remember your drivers must be capable of driving the motors...
