    2 routers together ??

Has anyone tried putting 2 routers together to power on spindle? I am thinking about this and was wondering if 2 is twice as good? Something like the their cable 15 amp models. thoughts.... I would like to do this rather getting into some kind of sexy motor.... for the time being.

It will probably work if you can drive them with one speedcontrol or synchronize the the speedcontrols somehow.

I'm running my minilathe (non cnc yet) with two servomotors on one speedcontrol because I used the original motor for my mill.
It's a quick and dirty fix but it works.

How would you use one speed control? Is that not built into the router? I will look at my router to see.
