Darkin I have just seen a couple of your posts and see you want to cut guitars so would say this build would not suit your needs. I suggest you look for something along the lines of a JGRO type machine.

John can you tell me why you think the walach design is not the one I should go for ,after all it looks fairly simple for my first cnc.

I also notice you are in the uk - where - I am in wakefield and really would like to see a machine in action

Do you plan to use this machine to cut parts for guitars?
I see you have posted in another members thread who has built the machine, it would be worth asking for their opinion but imo the machine is not going to be ridged enough for your needs.

I live in Essex so if you are in my neck of the woods give me a shout via pm I will be glad to let you come see my machine in action.

    Hi John

I am looking to do make 3 things

    1.custom pick guards
    2.Guitar Bodies
    3 Guitar necks

If I build this machine - could always use aluminiun for the strength maybe?

If I am coming down your way I would love to drop in - will pm you at some point - Shame or not that I am in yorkshire!

    Regards
