    Cookie Jar Lid

    I made this with my home made CNC router and my home made wood lathe. Finish is drying in this picture.

    Looks nice. Could you post a little more on how you did your segments?

    Last night I was poking around the V-Carve site and noticed that Warren came up with a way of doing bowls on his CNC. This allows you to also do oval shapes and what not:

    I am trying to use this technique for some drawer pulls on a piece of furniture that is in the works.

    Pic of lathe

    This is the home made lathe, I have had this machine several years. The CNC router is new stuff for me, but lots of fun.

    The segments in the lid were clamped with a ty-rap while the glue dried, then the whole thing was hot-glued to a faceplate and turned.

    Nice, gotta make me one right after the drum sander.

    Noticed the AF mats. Those things are worth their weight in gold...IMO.
