    I saw that page before and it makes me feel enadequate. I feel like I am making a Flinstones car (cartoon) and he is fine tunning space shuttle. But there is a lot of information that is helpful.

    It's probably not that hard to do a job like that if you have a machine shop at your disposal. Most do not. You do the best you can with the tools you have.

    It's probably not that hard to do a job like that if you have a machine shop at your disposal. Most do not. You do the best you can with the tools you have.
    I was thinking the same thing Not many of us have access to a lathe with a 6 JAW chuck!!!!

    In my life's travels I acquired a pneumatic drill that dentist use and brought it home. I informed the family that we could save monies if I do the dental work on them since I have a drill for it. They would not have any of it. I wonder why? and I am handy with tools. Having a machine does not make a machinist. I lurked through other treads and seen what a true machinists can do. Experiance and love of the profession means a whole lot more. So Merry Chistmas to you all.
