by TPI you mean threads per inch, not turns per inch, right?
If threads per inch, the pitch is .5 for all the screws.
I finally finished my frankenstein machine,
I want to try turbocnc with it, but I'm
having trouble with configuration
(maybe I should be in TCNC forum)
I tried tcnc before when it was v3,
and I only have single start screws.
Now using v4 but with multistart screws.
These are the screws I have for use with (a very appreciated gift) g201's
X= 4 start 8TPI
Y= 4 start 8TPI
z= 2 start 4TPI
my pitches for X & Y would be .125 right?
does the number of start affect the calculation?
with 10 µStep is .00003125 correct?
thanks.

TPI thread per inch yes.
in TCNC I should put .5 on the space for TPI?
Can you elaborate on how you get the pitch.
thanks.
