    Bosch 1617 Feeds+Speeds table

    I pulled some numbers off of the Vortex chipload chart (http://www.vortextool.com/images/chipLoadChart.pdf) and my router manual for my feed+speed chart. As it took me a good hour, maybe someone else will find these useful too.

    (PS. I guarantee nothing, the 3/16 numbers I approximated, and use at your own risk. PDF is 8.5x14", use the Excel if you want something different. Numbers generated by Google.)

    thanks for the post. iam working on my machine now and was wondering feed rate. currently i can only get 50 ipm. with the lead screws.

    Single flute bits can get you closer to optimum speeds. Cutting with a high rpm just wears out bits because they heat up too much.
