I just created a project for my KRMx02 CNC builders. Its a heavy duty wood stand that should work for many other CNC's.
While there are many reasons to build steel or aluminum stands for your CNC. I have created a stand that works quite well for even the heaviest CNC. A wood stand adds one feature that I have found that metal stands lack. They dampen vibration.
