How do you attach linear motion slides to aluminum extrusion?

Hi,

I was planning on using fractional aluminum extrusions with these:

Glacern CNC 20mm 49" SBR Linear Motion Guides Slides | eBay

But the mounting hole spacing doesn't come close to matching up with these, nor on the metric extrusions...

So how do you pro's mount these??? (on the sides)

I'm certainly no "pro" but I mounted my Glacern 20mm supported rail to 8020 extrusions my making a mounting plate from 3/8" cold rolled steel. I mounted the steel to the extrusions and then drilled and tapped the cold rolled steel to bolt the rails to the steel.

JerryBurks in his bamboo build simply drilled and tapped the aluminum.

They should line up on the side of these... 670017, 30 X 60B T-Slotted Extrusion, Metric Extrusions (30B Series) - automation products from Automation 4 Less

They also should work with 80/20 metric 3060 unless I'm missing something.

They should fit any base 30 extrusions... They are strongest oriented in the way in the pictures...

Yep, any base 30 extrusion, or the 6 series extrusion from Misumi also has the 30mm hole spacing that the rails use.
