    KL-5020 wiring

The output on my KL-5020 power supply has 2 positives and 2 negatives and one marked C. Is that a common ground for a multi tap coil. I do get a different voltage between C and +.

I don't have a KL-5020 but I have a similar Antek 48-volt power supply, and on mine the terminal marked "C" is apparently not connected to anything at all. I do not see any circuit board trace going to it on the top of the board, nor do I see it connected to anything on the bottom of the board.

The data sheet at http://www.kelinginc.net/KL-5020.pdf also shows no connection to that pin.

What voltage are you reading at that pin (compared to ground)?

I am getting 24-25 volts at C, 50 at ground. That data sheet is not correct also, There is no output for 5 volts, the secondary outlet in the picture is missing on mine.

If it is intended for you to see that voltage at that terminal, I would expect that there would be a separate rectifier and capacitor connected to that terminal. Is such circuitry actually there? Can you follow a printed circuit trace from that terminal to some electrical components?

I know that Antek uses different part numbers to identify power supplies that may or may not have accessory outputs of +5 volts or +12 volts in addition to the primary output. The auxiliary outputs are taken from additional transformer windings and go through separate rectifier/capacitor boards. I'm not sure what Keling advertises for that power supply, but if you were expecting (but did not get) an auxiliary output then you should probably take it up with Keling.

I wasn't expecting it at all, I have a pmdx bob and don't need the 5 or 12. It looks like it is connected to one side of the rectifier. The description on Keling site says it has a 5 volts output but it does not. It does have a 12.
