Nice one, will definitely be using that on my machine(s). I see you use a product called Sintra, is that a brand name or product type? I can't seem to find Sintra here in Australia.....

    Cheers

    Thanks Gerry

The Aussie equivalent certainly looks like Sintra, I'll check that supplier out.

this looks great. of course, someone will say that it would be a lot cheaper and simpler just buying the chain, but i say this way is 10 times more fun!

Dont know about that. I think I have about $50 invested and have an echain that matches my machine perfectly. Goes from one end to the other, not just the moving portion. Its bolts directly to my machine. If it breaks, I can fix it for next to nothing (lots of spare parts)

    Inside dimension of channel

    Hi,

Do you know what the inside dimension of the channel on the larger chain?

You mentioned that you made one for a larger cable. Did that mean a larger diameter e-chain box or did you mean a longer cable?

I have a Shopbot that I would like to make some e-chains for.

    Any information would be appreciated.
