Hi all, this question has been on my mind recently because 80/20 uses it in their bearing trucks and Hack has used it in his design but his build thread states that he wasn't able to evaluate its long-term integrity because he sold it early on.

On paper UHMW bearing trucks/pads seem like a great idea since there's no moving parts (see 80/20's design) but I get the feeling that the material has some drawbacks because I've only seen it used by Hack and one build log that never finished.

Any enlightenment on this topic would be appreciated.
