New to CNC, what parts to grease and with what type of grease? Wood machine.

I have a small Techno Isle Woodworking CNC. It's got linear rails and bearings (I believe they are stainless rails) and it's got the usual ball-screw and ball nut.

I have been using regular general purpose grease and at times white lithium spray grease.

But I have no idea what grease to use and what to grease.

I currently just slop a dab of it on the rail and ball-screw. But I'm worried that sawdust and woodchips will stick and may cause problems.

Curious what I should be doing.

I use Dial soap on my ACME screws. I just rub the soap bar on the screws. Wood chips and dirt do not collect. I found out about this by reading this forum somewhere. I have seen mechanist soap at Harbor Freight. I use compressed air to clear debris from my linear rails every now and then.

The soap is Ivory not Dial
