I noticed on his web site the kit I ordered now says "out of stock" so what ever that means I will be asking for a refund tomorrow and contacting my credit card company if he does not reply before I call them. I hate to do it but a simple e mail or phone call goes a long ways I know since I am a retired general building contractor keeping your clients informed is better than leaving them in the dark...

Well no word from Nate so I just got off the phone with Citi bank to dispute my credit card charge so the ball is in Nate's court refund or ship my order. I hated to do this but with countless e mails un answered shipment day has come and gone un answered voice mails I was left with no other recourse. I really wanted that Machine and still would like to have it. Anyone know of any other supplies of machines of this type?

I ordered all my stuff from CNCRP, and the order was always shipped within 1-3 business days... I believe that FLA gets all his stuff from CNCRP... It's the same stuff anyways...

I ordered my e stop from Ahren and received it in 3 days he answers his e mails in a short time. All of his kits are bigger than what I need and out of my price range or I can save some more cash. I have to wait now until the credit card dispute is taken care of He Nate has to ship or refund in a couple of days...

You don't necessarily have to buy it as a 'kit'.. Ahren sells all the same parts.. You can always just make a parts list and order the parts you need...

Mark that is a good Idea as soon as this is settled with Nate, ship my order or refund if it is the latter I will order this CNCRouterParts
and buy what ever I need I have my Hitachi M12VC Router,K2CNC Spinal mount,E stop,Puter with extra parallel port card so far. I would build on from scratch but with my health issues it would take for ever. But I may have to go that route since I am doing it all with Cash I have saved.
Once I am complete with my build it will be paid for. Everything else was ordered from Nate electronics the Gecko G540 4 axis kit,Machine, limit switches,Mach3 & Parallel cable. I will be posting on the board a build with pics and questions I know I will have many.As for a dust system that will follow...

Getting it built and up and running is not that hard.. The drilling you will have to do with a smaller table is not that bad, especially since Ahren now sells a drilling jig for the rails... Once you have a material list, the difference between just ordering the parts and ordering a kit is maybe a day or two's worth of work... You'll have to order the CRS rails, cut and drill them, and order the aluminum extrusion, which comes pre-cut to length.. Other than that, pretty much everything else should be the same...

What takes 'time' is building all the little jigs and what not, solving problems and dialing the software in for your machine, then learning the design/machining software and how to create a workflow within it, setting up the rest of your shop with supporting equipment, and adjusting the machine mechanics so that everything is parallel, perpendicular, and tight...

The building of the machine and getting it running is the 'easy' part... It was for me anyways...
