Hitachi m12vc router on sale at Lowes

I was surprised to find my favorite router, the Hitachi m12vc sold at Lowes for only $67! I bought 2 just in case the price was wrong.

But it actually listed the same on the Lowes website. I did some google searches for the same router and could not find anything less than $125.

    I hope this helps.

    Good find!

I am using the same router.

I am building a dust shoe now. I dont like the way the router blows/vents out the bottom. Dust gets blown everywhere.

Anyone have a remedy for the same experience?

    Frige,
I forgot where I saw it, but you can make a simple deflector from plastic that directs the air away up instead of down.

Google search or search here on the zone for it.

    Galtor,
It must be a regional thing for California
I you enter my zip code 94134, it comes up with the sale price.

I guess it pays to live in a state with the highest gas prices and taxes!

According to the Lowes website, there are still 3 in stock at my local Lowes in South San Francisco.

I could never find a simple deflector solution.
We'll see how my dust shoe works - if nothing else, it will be a complicated deflector.

It shows $99 for my zip code also. Doesn't matter though, as my local store hasn't had any M12V routers in stock in the past year. If I see one I'll buy a spare one.

It shows $31.68 when I use your zip code. Maybe I should order one online using your zip code to get it into the checkout box, then put in my real address and zip code for the shipping address.

With my luck I would get jailed instead of getting a good router for cheap.
