    2nd post, not an ad! nice steppers

    THIS IS NOT AN AD!
    I was looking for some steppers (for my diy cnc) and found some nice Motors w/ integrated controllers.

    That's pretty friggin' expensive... and you'll not be able to use most G-code software as most run from a parallel port... You'd probably have to modify the controller to work. I'm not aware of any software that will work universally with serial controllers. Most serial systems are proprietary. It'd probably take a long time and a lot of unneccesary fiddling around to make them work.

    I'd say that you'd be better off with a Xylotex board, set of Gecko drives or a Camtronics drive and a set of Nema32 motors. elsewhere. Either option is going to be hundreds less than those integrated items.

    If you're looking for stepper motors, I have some leftover motors from my router project. Oriental Motors # PK268-02A. These are new, current production, 191 oz./in.. 2 amp. per phase. Perfect for use with a Xylotex board. USD $35.50.
    I may also have leftover stainless flexible couplings. Will deside whether to sell these next week.


    All motors are sold pending payment.
