    Setting up a Chinese Spindle

I just purchased a 2.2KW spindle (a Chinese import) With a GE/Fuji VFD. This was purchased from someone who decided not to build a CNC and sold off the parts he did not use for other projects.
The spindle will not be here until sometime next week. I have an electrician (relative, meaning FREE labor!) installing a 220 outlet this weekend. I think I have all the bases covered for the installation except for the cooling system.

The spindle is the typical type found on Ebay - a 2.2KW water cooled spindle. What I need to know is how to set up the cooling system. I'm sure I won't be able to match fittings until I have the spindle in hand, but in order to set up the cooling system, what kind of setup and what parts do I need? Vendors to purchase parts?
    Any help will be appreciated.

You need a 5 gallon bucket, aquarium pump, and hose to fit your spindle. The biggest mistake for some people is making the cooling to complicated.

    Same setup as I have.

    Small reservoir (bucket)
1000L/hr pump, just one I had spare from reefkeeping hobby
Coolant fed through 0.25/6mm O/dia tubing
I added some antifreeze into my reservoir to provide corrosion resistance.

Spindle runs for hours and gets only slightly warm.

I agree with Pplug, some add fans etc, mine works fine.

Thanks for the responses and pictures. I was hoping it would be simple.
Is there a min/max recommended water flow?

The pumping requirement will be based on the resistance to flow of your system. The difference in height of your pump and spindle and the length of your tubing all factor into the equation. I am running the tubing in the cable chain of my 2x2 router an it close to 30 feet. I initial bought a small pump at the local big box store.I did some testing and got no flow out of the tubing back into the bucket. I did some research and ended up finding a surplus little Giant pump for $40 that was rated 17 foot head at 7.5 psi. It was way cheaper than the medium pumps at the local big box in the fountain dept. It's a larger unit but industrial. Needless to say I have really good flow now. :-) I put a ball valve to regulate the flow.
Quarter inch tubing has quite a flow restriction. I think the apps engineer said that amout of tubing was about 10 foot of head. My research seemed to not be able to find much real data on most of the aquarium or fountain pumps. If you have some to try that's great.
Thanks for posting some pictures of ones that work.
Here is the link to the series I got

Might be overkill, but it was cheap and it seem to work.
