Jet 1236 lathe add router ?

    Hello ,
I wanted to mount my router to my Jet JWL-1236 lathe. For now I just wanted it to ride on 2 bearing blocks and 1 ball screw which is turned by hand. I assume I can use 2 gears at the motor end to turn the spindle. Has anyone ever done this. I think it would be like the "Router Craftsman" that they used to sell. Or the Legacy Woodworking machine. Please let me know if anyone has any experience with this.
    Thanks
