What is the distinction between SBR and TBR linear rails?

I can't seems to find an answer anywhere online. I asked in FAQ of CNC building subforum but I don't think the post was ever approved. The drawings make it appear the SBR rails have a smaller opening which would make them more appropriate for mounting with a 90 degree rotation on the rail. Any thoughts?

    ANSWER EDIT:
    quote from gio666
the SBR is smaller , thinner , and is the cheap version of supported rails , as why they sell them for same price as TBR as people don't know there not the same

That's a good question and Google is not your friend ! I asked the same thing and received no answer.
    linearmotionbearings sbr rails

If you read the follow up in the link above you'll see the conclusion I reached by comparing Linearmotionbearings products. If someone has a better definition please share.

That link comes back to my posts and the information I provided was a guess at best.

I'll try getting an answer from Chai (LMB) but he doesn't always respond on weekends. Maybe someone will provide a definitive answer before then.

According to Chai (linearmotionbearings2008 on Ebay) the ONLY difference between TBR and SBR is the mount hole spacing. He sells tons of this stuff so theres your answer. His store will no longer carry the TBR items btw. The TBR items he currently lists are a different design but the TBR/SBR designation has nothing to do with it.

TBR allows you to use larger bolts and fit most of the 8020 , SBR rails don't fit much of the 8020 profiles ,

also get more clearance with TBR

the guy Chia (linearmotionbearings2008 on Ebay) seams to tell alot of people wrong stuff about products , mostly to sell products he has , lots of info is inaccurate about the rails ,bearing and mostly the ballscrews
