What do you guys think about this? I will only have access to 110V power, so 220 V is out of question.
The intended use will be for hobby CNC milling on a 12"x12"x6" desktop mill w/ a moving table. Nothing too fast, it is not really that important.
I like how the low and high speeds are in a good range for milling metals, but I'm not sure if it has enough power?
I really wanted to get the chinese spindle at first, but I don't have access to the 220V power at the moment.
Also, I dropped them an email to ask them about the runout of the system, so we'll see how good it is
Oh yeah, R8 or 3MT? All I know is 3MT is more permanent and meant to stay in there unless I wanna hammer it out...
The last option would be to get a strong AC motor and manually make a spindle for it, but if time runs out, I'll be getting this instead to save time and frustration.
