First CNC build test runs

Hey guys, just thought I would throw up a few videos of my cnc machine. Its just a little custom build prototype made from MDF and parts from the local hardware store. I really just built it as kind of a proof of concept so I could secure some funding for the full size version to come later.

Here is the first video before i built the z-axis

It is pretty basic and I built it this way because it cost me probably <$20 (excluding the electronics). I already had the MDF and the screws sitting in my garage. I really only had to purchase the shafts and leadscrews/nuts from lowes. I also have a dremel that I plan on mounting on it so I can route some basic parts. After I play with this for a while I plan on building a 4x8 with rack and pinion drives.

BTW this machine has a 10x10x6 cutting area.
