Stepper motor cover? Where to find....

There was a guy selling covers for NEMA 23 type steppers. It was a plastic cap with a built in 4 pin plug. Anyone know where these are or where I can find them?

Buy me a Beer?

Doesn't this type of cover hold in the heat? I think it would effect performance in the long run from prolonged heat build up.

No, it's a rear cap only. You still have the sides of the motor for heat disipation not to mention the face which is bolted against a large aluminum motor mount/heat sink.

Here is what I heard back

Daniel "The production line is being moved and I hope in something like two weeks we should have a new stock of the 2.25" covers. After that is finished we will start working on the 60mm and it will take another month or so till they will be available."

So it looks like in about 6 weeks we'll have the 60mm covers available!

Just got to say that I think this is a fantastic product. I have two on my machine and they work well. No problems with motor heating. Now that I'm using a Gecko 540 with appropriately placed resisters, the stepper motors are only slightly warm. Probably less that 80 degrees F. Highly recommended!
