I found some of these at the local surplus store (American science & surplus) for $0.95 each. They are Bi-polar (4 wire) and have a resolution of 20 steps. It is a Molon LMO-6360 #37397-000 I would like to use these in my cnc table I am building. Does anyone have a good source for a simple 3 axis bipolar motor controller that I can build or buy. |

probably torque too small, and resolution is poor as a start point... you could search 200step/rot motor, size 57mm, torque about 0.5...2Nm (~71...286 oz-in)
google can show you projects one of nice page: http://pminmo.com/ss3977/ss3977.htm or my: http://forum-cnc.pl/index.php?topic=643.0
