looking for good wiring quick connectors

I'm looking for a good (performance and aesthetics) quick connection plugs for my CNC. I was looking at Ethernet CAT5 cables but read they're not recommended for driving the current needed for steppers/control board. But something along that line would be great, a slim connecting footprint like the CAT5 or USB-like plug preferred over large MIDI/microphone connectors/plugs. I searched at older post but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

What kind of current ratings are you looking at?

Look at AMP CPC style, these resemble the Military style MS connectors but are much cheaper, they have a plastic case rather than metallic like the MS counterpart.
In Canada they are available from Electrosonic or DigiKey.

I run a Xylotex setup so wires are about 3.6v and 2.5 amps. I'll check out the AMP CPC, thanks!
