Hello I'm finally getting to the end of building my cnc router after about a year, I'm building my control center now and need some help on relays, I bought some Crydom EZ240D18 relays from MPJA I have never used solid-state relays before, the input side is 5-15vdc and output is 120vac 18a I was going to use them to turn on my router with the Gecko G540 when I applied 12vdc to the input side it did turn on the 120vac side but when I removed power to the input the 120vac stayed on I had to manually disconnect the 120vac to get the relay to cycle back to normally off potion am I doing something wrong or do I need some deferent relays, please help |

| CNC Man, I have exactly that relay hooked up to my G540 controlled by Mach 3. I didn't need a bleed resistor, I think that the G540 will provide that. In any event, my router turns on and off on command without fail. More on it at www.liming.org/cnc |
