Hi, I'm Roger and live in Amsterdam. I need some advise on the following: I purchased a chinese hf 2.2kw water cooled spindle. Now one of the water-inlets broke apart. I'm a bit confused on threadsize (metric vs inches) etc etc. The part measures 7.65mm or 5/16 in. (?). A friend told me that it's probably UNF (?) He mentioned something with the number 24. anyway, I'm completely lost on this. besides the fact that there is hardly anything "inches" available in this part of the world ![]() here's a picture http://www.cnczone.com/gallery/showfull.php?photo=6089 anyone? cheers |

| Hi, If you get in contact with Aoran Bai at lovehappyshopping on eBay he might be able to sell a couple to you. He answers all emails very quickly. (sometimes I wonder if he sleeps) try here and leave a message with the sellers. http://stores.shop.ebay.com.au/love-...__W0QQ_armrsZ1 regards Rich.

| Hi Rich, I sent him an email yesterday. got reply this morning saying that P&P would make it verrrry expensive to ship these items to me. I suggested that an envelope is all it takes... can't be that expensive, right? anyway, hope for the best. Rich, thanks for helping out on this! |

| I have had no problems with the "lovehappyshopping" shop. I have not bought anything from the other one. The units appear to be the same. If and when you do buy one, don't forget to read the threads on how to set them up properly as you won't get much info from the makers. If you want to control them by computer then you will also need and analogue to digital converter which can be bought from CNC4PC and is fairly easy to set up. I think Bob has fixed the instructions making it easier. Get it here. http://www.cnc4pc.com/Store/osc/prod...products_id=58 I have been using mine for the past few months and it's great and nice and quiet and pretty smooth in operation. I bought the 1.5 Kw air cooled spindle and it runs cool to touch after a few hours of running, maybe slightly warm. The only suggestion I would make is they you ask them to supply the collet nut with the proper collet release type of nut. Mine didn't have one and it was difficult to change the cutter as it would lock pretty tightly on the ER11 collet. I bought 2 from ctctoolseller on eBay pretty cheaply ($20 aud). Have fun. I am going to buy another one at a later date as I think they are worth it. regards Rich.

| I have the same 2.2kW water cooled spindle from "lovehappyshopping" - had it for nearly a year now and is still working great. I doubt the water inlet is anything but metric, as the other parts are metric. Take it to your local hydrualic shop and see if they have something that will fit. Otherwise just tap a new fitting, but make sure you apply a reverse water flow so that tap chips flow out of the drive and not into it. |

| Is it possible to check with the sellers if they have this parts? anyway, the sellers can find the spindle manufacture and get the parts exactly right. _____________________ JENNY from WKLASER.COM |

"lovehappyshopping" is willing to send me the parts at very little cost. US thread is difficult stuff in this part of the world. It's UNF 5/16 by the way. changing the fitting is easy, but there is a rubber sealing at the bottom. the seller was not a reseller. I got it secondhand but brandnew. the guy needed money for some reason. It's a 2.2kW. anyway, it's solved. thanks everybody for input! Roger |

| I had a negative experience with love-happyshopping. I bought 2.2kw spindel ( item 370297211895). I hadn't received it 45day and left negative feedback. After that seller ask me remove this feedback and said that after that he will send me package. I did it. Now he didn't answered my email and I can't do anything. Total: -560$ Be very careful with love-happyshopping. He is fraud! |

| Guys I need some help with a 1.5kw chineses spindle and a Hitachi WJ200-015SF VFD. Well here is my problem. First I bought the spindle and then the VFD. I was on the phone with the guy where I bought the VFD from. I was asking for setup help as I knew nothing about either device. He had me set the VFD to 60 hz. Then I did a test run and sure nuff it starting to spin up. After about 7 seconds and still speeding up WHITE SMOKE come out from around the front of the spindle. The specs on the spindle say Hnz - 15 1.5 kw 220 V 6.5A 24000 rpm 400 hz The VFD I have is the HITACHI WJ200. I think I have fried the spindle as now after setting the hz to 400 the motor vibrates a little and then the ALM light comes on the VFD and it shuts down. At this point I have ordered another spindle from someone else (ebay) and it will be here in a week or so. I would like to be sure I have the VFD setting correct before I hook the new spindle to it. Is there someone here that can or is willing to walk (talk) me through the settings on the VFD I have so I don't roast another 200+ dollar spindle? I am wanting to use a watercooled spindle to cut down on the noise I create when running the CNC router. Thanks for any help you can offer me. |
