I just started my first build yesterday. I have been collecting pieces for a few months now and have decided to start putting them together. I have attached a pic of what I have so far. I used the JGRO design and modified it a little to use 60" gas pipe. I basically just want to get this one cutting good enough to build the Joe's 2006. Everything seems to slide very smoothly, so I think Ill be in good shape. The only thing Im worried about is the flex in the 60" gas pipe. It doesn't look that bad, hopefully it will be ok. Ill post more pics as I make progress.  |

I got the motors hooked up and ran the roadrunner with a trial of mach 3 today. Worked really well. I have to finish the base support and the top support and Ill be ready to go. Here is a pic of the roadrunner. Last edited by beamsjr; 01-26-2010 at 05:44 PM. |
