Grease Nipple on Ballscrew?

I ordered my 3 ballscrews from Linearmotionbearing on Ebay (Chai) When I received it I noticed I also had 3 grease nipples which unsurprisingly fit perfectly in the ballscrew nuts.

Am I supposed to use those?? Do I have to route 3 oil feeding tbes to my ballscrews? I don't remember seeing anyone doing that on any build threads

You can lubricate the ball screws with grease just using a grease gun. All the Haas TM and TL machines have grease nipples for lubrication, and I quote; "using a general-purpose lithium grease." I think the knew Haas machines that have just been introduced also are grease lubricated but they have a central air powered grease system with lines to all the ballscrews and linear guides.

Same info apply to linear slides? when my bearing blocks stop I always see a little line of grease where they stopped. Should the bearing blocks be greased? The grease nipple on the bearing blocks look like a regular grease nipple but will a regular grease gun fit?

This is what the lubrication instructions for the Haas Toolroom lathe say:

The linear guides and ball screws are manually lubricated. There is a grease fitting on the Z axis saddle which is plumbed to lubricate the four trucks. The Z-axis ball screw is lubricated through a grease fitting on the ball nut. Two grease fittings are located on the X-axis cross-slide. One is for the ball screw and the other is plumbed to the four trucks. To insure proper lubrication the X and Z axes should be cycled daily and lubricated weekly, using a general-purpose lithium grease. Lubricate with a grease gun until visible grease comes out of the ball-nut and linear guide trucks.

I don't think there is any reason why these could not be applied to any linear guide or ballscrew.

Yes just use a regular grease gun and a High quality grease, Hiwin recommened a mineral based grease.
I have the same screws and use a high quality Lithuim grease.
Same on my linear rails, just dont go crazy spin the nut up n down the screw a few times then give them a little bit more.
just repeat every so often when in use and dont let them dry out.
