I'm looking at picking up a used driver and stepper system a guy used in a foam cutter based on the MM2001 board with a parallel port interface. I want to use this in a CNC router, not a foam cutter. Can I use this system for this purpose, and will it work with CNCPro or TurboCNC? I've been looking over the plans for the 7 th sojourn. I'm planning on using my dremel as the router. I'm wanting this to cut out balsa wood airplane parts. Thanks in advance for guidance. I'm new to this stuff, but I'm getting REALLY tired of hand-cutting my stuff, and now that I'm drawing everything in CAD, I want to do some fancier stuff. |
