Hi, I have a quick question is this slide alone strong enought for y-rail. I have go the idea for single slide from this webpage. I am plaanin to update my mdf machine to aluminium desing. My plan is to cut manly mdf and plywood. But can this rail also handle some light aluminum routing ? Br. Juri |

| Years ago I was building a small router and checked into the specs for this type of slide and was amazed at their capacity. Mine was rated at 340 pounds downward load and 225 pounds side load if I remember correctly. More than enough for most applications. |
