hey everyone, could someone please explain these 2 *object*s to me please? im guessing the piece of alluminium on the left used to complete the circut when the router tool hits it to tell the computer the depth its at or something like that? and im guessing that the controller on the right moves the axis? can someone please tell me what their called and how they work please? |

| The unit on the right is a Shuttle Pro video editing pendant. There's a plugin for Mach3 that lets you assign functions to the buttons and let's you jog the machine with the dial(s). The plate is used to zero the Z axis, by jogging the tool down to it until it completes a circuit, and sends a signal to Mach3.
