Bosch colt router Dimension / Measurements Please :)

I have a new Bosh Colt on it way and was wondering if anyone can share diameter measurement?

I am building my table and would like to cut the holder for it but don't have the physical router just yet.

Could someone please post this measurement? I think it is 2-1/2 inches in diameter.

Regards,
Ken

So I went in a store and pulled the base off the display router. With a VERY rough measurement I'm getting around 2 13/16" - 2 7/8". That's all I needed to know. I'll cut for it when it arrives.

Once you get it in and and are able to get an accurate measurement, please post the dimensions. You may help someone down the road.

Buy me a Beer?

I would be interested too. I posted the 3D model I made of of my Bosch router. I am currently designing a new CNC around the Colt. If anyone had the critical dimensions I would really appreciate it!!

My 3D bosch file...

The mounting surface height would be a good idea too

Ok here's what I got. All in "mm"

Easier to post pics then to describe!

FYI, If someone makes a working file using these dimensions, please be kind and post it here.

BTW, this is one nice router. Quite and runs MUCH better then anticipated. Great buy. I may get a little crazy and use it as a trim router on my machine tonight! LOL

Thanks Grunblau for the DIY cable track. I was just about to try and work up something similar when my machine was finished. Excellent. Have you cut this yet? Have a pic? Are these glued when complete?

Here we go...

Thanks so MUCH for sharing the dimensions, this was very usefull, so I have made a mount for the colt.

If you need the 3d Model, just go to Google Sketchup 3D Warehouse, I have shared the model there "Bosch Colt Mount"

I don't know if this is a reasonable alternative or not, but K2 in the US makes a very good clamping holder for the Bosch Colt...buy one of those and devote your time elsewhere, perhaps?

It would guarantee you a working clamp, no need to worry about tolerances, fit, etc.
