Hello everybody. I got this problem with servo kit from IM-Service web. http://www.cadcamcadcam.com/cnckit-k...rmoreaxes.aspx I built my machine, dressed it with motors, hooked everything in the cabinet, plugged in and..... It's not working!!!! After configuring (Desk CNC software, which I've never heard of before) software I am trying to home the machine and it would not move. Drivers are popping up and I have to reset the power every time. And then the software not responding so I have to restart the software and it goes all over again. Anybody have had dealt with this setup? any suggestions? Please? |

I'd like to let everyone know, that they should never by a DESK CNC servo kit from IM-Service! This company is one-man-show. support is very poor and product is not worth of money! This lesson turned out to be too expensive for me. DO NOT make same mistake as I did... |

| IM serve is a excelent dealer for Deskcnc. They have much expertise of Deskcnc. I myself sell in The Netherlands Deskcnc products see www.leeuwinga.nl Regarding your problem I assume that weather deskcnc is not proper configurated or/else the servo drives have not been tuned in their PID settings. If you buy a race car you will not become a F1 driver ! |

| The Desk CNC software may be a good stuff (it weights about 5 Mb, not so hefty for a good product). But to be able to work with it, person should be like a genius, must know everything! Regarding a race car... maximum speed I could get out of servo kit was 25 ipm, and it would still be unreliable (you start cutting a part and you never know if it will finish it, probably not!) Drivers fail all the time for no reason, even with all settings originally coming with the software and motors not fitted to machine. Then it goes all over again. This Desk CNC would not even allow slave motor to work in reverse to main. I had to reverse polarities on motor and encoder manually. To conclude... All this experience has been such disappointment. Good thing about it is that money for it was coming from my employer's pocket, not mine. Looking forward to get another setup. Good day |
