Hey ppl... I just ordered the "MICRO Router MOF, #38 568" to use as a high speed spindle on my SX3... It's on the Proxxon website under "New items"... I was considering the IB/E but then I found this router which shares the same collets as the IB/E... It's a bit faster at 27,500 rpm and slightly more powerful at 130 w... It can also be found for less than 100$ on Ebay (new)... I will be using this mainly for making PCBs... I also have some 0.2 mm carbide engraving bits on there way too... If anyone is interested I will post my experience with this router regarding run-out, mounting, noise, rigidity, etc etc... Michael  |
